Customer Service Representative

We are looking for dedicated hard working individuals for our entry level Customer Service position. With 90% of our management and key employees being promoted from within, this is an amazing opportunity to start a career. The customer service representative position is full time 40-45 hours per week and does require a bit of flexibility in scheduled hours as business demands. The primary job of a CSR is receiving calls from our customers for courier orders and entering that data into our system. This is a fast paced and dynamic position as each customer is different and has specific needs. When you show your dedication and work ethic, we notice and advancement is always on our mind.

Compensation and Benefits

Dispatcher

The Dispatcher's primary responsibility is to quickly and efficiently assign On-Demand work to drivers as the work is received. Dispatchers analyze in real time, the available work to identify and create appropriate shipping lanes for drivers. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining positive working partnerships with all of our independent contractors. Both our Customers and Independent Contractors depend on our dispatcher to get the job done.

Responsibilities:

  • assign 300 to 500 on-call and recurring orders per day via either:
  • On-time performance of both your fleet/zone and the overall fleet
  • Professional and respectful communication and relationships with drivers, customers and internal departments
  • Quickly and effectively handling exceptions and special needs
  • Mentoring Contractors and helping them succeed professionally

Skills:

  • Dispatch Experience
  • Expert knowledge of the Twin Cities Metro Area
  • Experience with fast-paced, high-volume order management

Compensation:

  • $21.50 to $30.00 per hour to start (based on experience or ability). There is no slow track at Priority, once you demonstrate an understanding of our business we will place you in our operations center and adjust your pay to equal your ability. Primary Dispatchers can earn $80,000 to $93,000 annually.
  • Full-time Morning, Midday and Afternoon shifts available.

Sales - Transportation

New Business Development - Critical Account Support

Transportation experience is preferred but not necessary. Ninety-five percent of our current staff started with no transportation experience and are now the experts in the industry.

Sales - New Business Development:

  • Identifying and capturing new business opportunities
  • Developing new opportunities within the existing customer base
  • Management of your territory
  • Support fleet growth with consistent new business
  • Daily/weekly meetings in the field with existing customer base & new opportunities
  • Ability to work efficiently within our Salesforce CRM system
  • Willingness and availability to attend client and company events outside normal business hours

The Seasoned Rep position at Priority is a critical role. With an inside support team of more than 60 dispatchers, support personal, administrative team and fleet personal, you have the resources and ability to create efficiencies for every business you call on. All shippers in the Twin Cities know who Priority is and what we do. You can start or continue a great sales career delivering critical same-day service at Priority.

  • Based on past company history a New Business Development/Territory Manager position has earned $125,000 to $225,000 per year.

Critical Account Support:

  • Support representatives in the field
  • Mentor individuals in the College "Expert" program
  • Help process and administer new and existing clients
  • Prospect within existing customer base
  • Work directly with customers on real-time delivery needs

The Critical Account Support department is most critical at Priority. Department personal will work in a very fast paced environment. Our CAS' communicate real time with the customer, driver, dispatcher, sales managers and basically touch every department in the company. We are looking for highly efficient candidates to join our team in a role that is referred to as a liaison to everything Priority.

We offer to our Critical Account qualifiers

  • $2,000 sign on bonus - paid at 30 days
  • Minimum $20 per hour with opportunity to advance to $25 per hour
